2017 Wings At The Waterpark
Published: June/29/2017
It’s another summer, so that means it’s almost time for another Wings at the Waterpark! We love this event and look forward to it every year! Also, you get to see yours truly manning the voting boxes. What more could you want?!
If you haven’t heard of Wings at the Waterpark before, let us break it down for you. This is the fourth year for the event, which is happening July 30. Every year there are tons of great wing choices from various restaurants around the NEPA area. It only costs $20 if you pre-order your tickets ($25 dollars the day of, $10 for children 6-12, and free for children 5 and under) to sample every wing from each restaurant that participates. Most places bring more than one wing. It’s the best way to sample tons of great wings from awesome places in NEPA. For full details and to keep an eye out for the pre-order tickets, head over to the 2017 Wings at the Waterpark Facebook Page.
This year, they are doing a special VIP session where you get early access to all the wings as well samples of craft beer from Ace Beverage Co. Nothing goes together like wings and craft beer!
If you’re a wing vendor, there’s still time to sign up! Vendors have a chance to win four different categories: Best Wings in NEPA, Best Boneless Wings in NEPA, Craziest, and Hottest. All categories are voted on by the very people at the event. Don’t miss this opportunity to show everyone what you can bring to the table! Use the Facebook Page link above to see how you can enter.
So far, the vendors include:
- Bud’s Bar & Grill
- Happy Valley Sports Bar
- The V Spot
- Waldo’s Tavern
- Andy Gavin’s Eatery & Pub
- Slocum Hollow
- DeLeo’s Tavern
- Drinker Pizza
- Nonno’s Pizza & Family Restaurant
Vendors are being added all the time, so check out Facebook for the latest additions.
We look forward to seeing everyone there!
On a side note, we push to have the Lazy River filled with wing sauce for the event every year. We have not received confirmation that this would be happening, but we have not received confirmation that it would not be happening, so keep your fingers crossed!
